about the oil paintings

For as long as I can remember, I’ve counted myself among those fortunate enough to have a hyperactive dream life. My dream world rivals my waking one on almost every front, including travel, relationships, emotional complexity, adventures, knowledge, and creativity—the list is endless.

 

The roots of my oil paintings are in this rich dream world, and I try to capture pieces of it to share with others. I focus on transforming the images, feelings, settings, and sounds that I encounter into textures, paint, and color on canvas. I hope that something in these paintings will speak to you—or capture your own imagination.
